Update and Event Keys

November 18, 2020

Dear KCMC Member,

In appreciation for everyone’s support with the Kansas City Minecraft Network, this fall we are implementing a brand new feature into our Server - Event keys!

These Event Keys can be used to earn special one-time prizes, including Enchanted Netherite tools with Efficiency X, Netherite Enchanted Armor with Protection X and Enchanted Elytra with Unbreaking X, during upcoming events, including this year’s Advent Calendar, beginning December 1, 2020. How it will work is by logging in during each day of the event, you will obtain three(3) Event Keys.  You can then use the Event Keys to open Event Chests for a chance to win the main prize for each Event or for each day of the Event.  For the 24-day Advent Calendar, for example, each day will have a special one-time prize for players to win.  However, once the day is over, that prize goes away.  But what if you used all three Event Keys and didn’t win the main prize? No worries!  Event Keys can be purchased in-game using 500 points (points are obtained through voting) or purchased on the website for just $0.99!  Event Keys will also be transferable from Event to Event, so don’t worry about having any left over!

In addition to Event Keys, we will also have one-time log-in rewards which can be claimed by simply logging in to the server during the associated time frames for the following upcoming holidays displayed in the table below:

Holiday   Time Frame To Claim

Thanksgiving

Thursday, 11/26/2020 00:00 EST thru Sunday, 11/29/2020 23:59 EST

New Year’s

Valentine’s Day

Thursday, 2/11/2021 00:00 EST thru Sunday, 2/14/2021 23:59 EST

We would once again like to thank everyone for your continued support on the Kansas City Minecraft Network and we look forward to what 2021 holds for all of us.  Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Sincerely,

KCMC Staff
